Re: Batajnica 01-02.09.2012

@Arjan The "who cares" remark is very simple. The question was "Whom do we believe now", the answer is very simple "who cares" because and the Russian MiG and the Il-76 and the An-12 and the Swift were there. It was nice to see them but for me not the reason to go to Serbia. I went to Serbia to see ...

Re: Batajnica 01-02.09.2012

Both, because there was an An-12 and an Il-76MD on the static.

But who cares?

Re: Khodinka Moskva 10-08-2012

The friendly guard (Vladimir) said that he expects a number of aircraft to be moved to other locations 'soon'. Some to be restored, others for scrapping. Some aircraft had already been moved. We saw a MiG-17, MiG-19, Il-28 and Yak-36 at Arkhangelskoye Museum which are ex Khodinka aircrafts. Regards...

Re: Unknow Alouette at Marseille - help wanted

Can't really remember if it was one or two (I photographed only one). Four not ... for sure.
Only one outside in the field, which is unfortunately unknown!
Aren't there four of these ex ALAT Alouettes at Marseille?
In the past there were at least 7 Al-3's stored.

Re: 100 years Russian Air Force

Nice pictures Peter. Do you perhaps have also a good photo of the L-410 in the flypast (sunday). We couldn't find a serial.

Re: France Sud (week 31-2012) - picture heavy !!!

Iwan Both places are accessible but at the first point you are able to take pictures over the fence. Most of the time the airplane do use the right runway and the Eurocopter heli's the left. But sometime the Securite Civile also use the left one. I even saw the Cl-415's on the taxiway near the fence...

France Sud (week 31-2012) - picture heavy !!!

[mod edit: split from this one ] Iwan, I think he was standing at 43°25'25.15"N, 5°13'29.09"E. Liitle bit depending on which runway they came in (left or right). Otherwise 43°25'26.98"N, 5°13'33.69"E will do. During fire season the Securite Civile is flying a lot. Otherwise every day some trainingsm...

Re: Creil/Senlis (LFPC) 2012 MIL

@Dj

We saw one outside, the 48/116-EM.
We did not saw the second NH-90.
We had the CN-235 141 departing, did you maybe read the code of this one?
Also we saw 3 TB-30's departing but were at the wrong place at the moment to read them.

Re: Paris - Bastille Day 14 July 2012

DJ,

How sure you about the serial of the Tigre BHW! Should be the 2032. And I understand the one at Invalides was a different one than in the flypast. It was the 2030 but the one that was damaged in Afghanistan.
