Quite a long drive and yes, it was cold. Local units were in hibernation, so we saw only visitors. It was cold and dark but the two tankers took off.

Just this one shot from yesterday. If you arrive at noon and see this, make a 180. Colors don't matter, visibility -horizontally and vertically- does.. Guess Piet wants to show every color of the rainbow, but he needs more space for it.

Along the way between bases we saw these signs. They seem to say there are speed camera's (but not very sophisticated ones). At Andravida we saw two Mirages (215 and 231) , probably for training with the F4s. Three F4s were on the flight line, and far away two RF4 wrecks.

On some bases operational photography was not frowned upon, everybody did. Guess Tanagra has gotten used to it after the show in September. Nea Aghialos was a different story.
