Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"

Gerard, you're right,
Rob's remark was meant for the "select group of insiders" who have pleasant memories of him
I reckoned that Dimitri was such a very well-known person amongst aircraft spotters that a closer introduction was not necessary. Apparently, I did need to say more :?.

Hi Oz, sorry, but:
Think this all has to do with the deployment of JBG33 to Neubrandenburg.
Can you tell more about this deployment? Must have missed it...

Hi Olli, thanks for the information! I'll keep a keen eye on the 'Spotting Germany'-forum as well, I noticed up-to-date information on flying activities is given there, too.

Have a good weekend, too,

Re: Nörvenich ETNN 13-10-09

Beautiful shots, Olli!
How are things at Nörvenich, how many Tonka's can be seen in a day nowadays you reckon? I'd like to go there one of these days, but it's quite a ride for me and I would like to make sure the trip might be worth the trouble.

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Nörvenich (ETNN/QOE) - 2009 MIL

The base is closed from 27 July until 7 August 2009
and
Only one Staffel is still active
I really would like to pay a visit this month, in order to 'score' some final JBG31 Tornado's. Does anyone have update information on what I might expect to see?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Re: Alternatives for Canon EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III USM

Hi CDN Aviator,
No, it was not a translation fault, it was a bad copy/past action...
I meant that your question was not stupid, but that I should have explained WHY I thought your compositions needed some adjustment. It shows that posting messages is a delicate matter :) .

Compositions of no.'s 1 and 2 could be better, I agree on the focus thing, but there's nothing wrong with your backgrounds :D !

Re: Polish MiG-29's over the Baltics

Iwan's skills are well-known for a long time, and he just confirmed what he is capable of. Astonishing shots, and I try not to be too jealous
However, what I regret, is that we nowadays seem to be stuck with Polish F-16s, rather than the mighty Fulcrum!!

Re: Your 'Arty-Farty' pics

Maybe a new topic about this kind of pics?? I surely wouldn't mind, but this has been tried before and some people really rejected it... But this 'arty farty' thing is really a great topic; very inspiring and I think that's one of the main reasons to start a photo forum anyhow. Keep 'm coming! Mazz...
