29 looks "almost" perfect from the beach site.

29 is great but I guess that a boat is the only possibility for 36! :? Unfortunately the beach is off limits beyond the 29 approach.

Re: NAS North Island + Point Mugu

Indeed numerous cross-country movements over the weekend at North Island. However, on the weekend day we were there they were using runway 36 coming in over the sea rather than 29 which approach runs over the beach. No idea if it was bad luck or that it was some kind of noise measure or something. H...

No it didn't but if you want to know which one it was; I was told that MM7070/6-71 should be the one.

Re: ARMY Kubinka 2017

It surprises me that there's no report of ARMY 2017 yet here on Scramble. It was a very, very great show with lots of planes. Being in Russia for the first time, it was just heaven for me. Almost all the aircraft that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid back in the 70's and 80's were present...

thx a lot. I thought I saw two C-146's but my wife drove above 140 [km/h] to get back home fast and didn't want to make a hit and run   On the evening of the 18th also all white CN235 N768KD belonging to Prescott Support was parked "near" the C-32 and C-146 (actually to the left of the ...

They have enough hangar space at Gosselies so it is very unlikely that they are still outside. I have been there many times in the past and did not see a single aircraft outside at the Sabca facility.

well a fair mix there. I wonder if they are in for maintenance before going onward to another (or other) Air Forces. As they are from different blocks (25, 30 and 32) I would be surprised if they would go to another Air Force. As I think the USAF has a contract with SABCA for the USAFE birds it cou...
