Lechfeld is one of the worst airfields in Germany for spotting. Only the northside offers some possibilities for approaching aircraft. The base itself is nearly impossible.

They are there for maintenance so I would be extremely surprised as they still are. Chances are virtually zero as they have a lot of hangar space.

Last Wednesday it was approximately take offs between 10-11, between 14-15, between 17-18 and another one (Greek only) was planned between 20-21 but we had left by then.

Thanks Hans and indeed, only saw them once with squadron markings. They were the 20sq aircraft that deployed to Red Flag in 2008.
