The V corps has recently been re-activated for the european mission and has nearly 1000 soldiers assigned of which 200 seem to be deployed to Poland and the rest remains in the US. Date 2021.

If they depart with 18 jets as seems to be standard with the unit. Count on close to zero activity from the remaining 10 or so jets.

And as of today all this remains to be seen.
Trump has ordered more "troop movements" in the past which still have to take place.

That is one thing. The 52nd could also be downgraded in status if not to go in total. Deployments could also use other bases in the AOR. Secondly should need arise the remaining HAS area at Ramstein could be upgraded.

It wouldn't make sense to keep the base open for just a few falcons IMO.

But question remains if the base is to close or will remain open for the AMC mission which it has too.
