Re: Alliance (KAFW) - ATAC F-1 arrival

Info on French internetsites suggests that the first 32 (out of a total of 61 a/c) aircraft that will be overhauled by SABCA at Gosselies consists of 6 x F.1B's, 10 x F.1CR and 16 x F.1CT. From photo's on the internet I have found the following tailnumbers: F.1B: 502 (arrived by truck July 9, 2018) ...

Great pics!

Is the tail of Mirage 2000C with serial 118 still in red and decorated with the emblem of SPA84 'Renard'?

Museum Gatow

Goodmorning!

I am planning a visit to the museum in the next couple of weeks and I am curious if anyone have visited the museum lately and can confirm that some of the stored a/c (like the French Meteor) are still outside due to restoration of (some of) the storagehangars?

Thanks in advance!

Re: RAF to scrap 16 Typhoon two-seater trainers to parts

Interesting list!

Does anyone know what happend to ZJ940? As far as I know it was delivered to Coningsby during July 2007 and was stored with TMU a year later, since at least mid 2008, marked as "DJ666".

Re: Museum Les Amis de la 5eme Escadre in the town of Orange

Sorry for my late response: I checked my pictures again. The number "319" is painted on the rear fuselage, under the stabilo. You're correct about the c/n 319 which is a Belgian CM170, which crashed in 1986. That wreck was noted at Evere during 1987. I haven't seen any report of it since. It seems t...

Museum Les Amis de la 5eme Escadre in the town of Orange

Two new inhabitants were noted during a quick visit (outside only) on August, 23th: CM170 319 (fuselage only). The fuselage was parked near the entrance, close to the preserved Jaguar. Photography in its current state is best in the morning. MS760 114/NJ. (dismantled). The Paris can be seen at the o...
