Apparently it's a website full of fake news.

P-3A Orion op 26 juni 1984 Excellent photo of a very special P-3. I remember well that the Valkenburg spotter were p*ssed off that it went to Soesterberg. To add something: F-15A of 9th TFS deployed at Soesterberg in May and June 1986 (Coronet Apache). https://farm1.staticflickr.com/562/19031653345...

Re: Military Lockheed L.1329 JetStars

Fantastic collection, Dick. The USAF and German JetStars were no unusual visitors at Valkenburg until the mid eighties. The Algerian with Arafat visited too. To add two of mine Köln-Bonn, June 1986. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3940/15595272095_80a6a53fe3_b.jpg JetStar by Rob Schleiffert , on Flic...

What puzzles me: in the video you can see the wings of the Sukhoi in the forward position. When flying 980 km/h? At what speed do they fold the wings?

Those with codes 04 and 05 were not taken in Syria. There's snow in the background. The ground crews are wearing winter jackets.

That was me. I noticed Mi-8 '210' at Split on 24 July. According to the database it is preserved at Pleso as H-210.
Photo proof: not flying in this photo, but I saw it return from a fire fighting mission:

Thanks. Yes I noticed, but it's still shocking to see. If you like to know how this all started, I can recommend two books written by Peter 'd Hamecourt (former NOS-correspondent in Russia): 'Rusland in oorlog -met zichzelf en de wereld' part 1 and 2. I'm reading them now. He describes how the cold ...
