I think this is an archive picture of a UH-60 from Aviano which crashed in Northern Italy a few years ago.

Thanks Tim. I'm glad to be of help. The trouble with the -5s is that the numbers as well as all stencils are not painted on the aircraft. They are 'decals' really and the transparent film's reflection makes it hard to read. Here is a list of Sunday's Mirages: 548 (show opening formation) 232 & 213 ...

We drove around the airbase and we saw it from the other end. And if I remember it correctly it was the hangar near the place where the turkish stars were parked. But don't know it for sure... We didn't see it on base though. It does indeed help. If it was in that hangar then I know that I couldn't...

Anyone who did read the number of the french one?

As far as I can find out, this code should belong to serial 128. Anyone who can confirm this?

Thanks in advance,

Hilco Schigt

Hi all, I'll try to answer a few questions. First of all, the Yak-52's didn't fly on saturday. I have seen them taking off on sunday from Szolnok for the airshow. Serials were: 02, 05 and 06. They took off all three together, what a beautiful sight was that!! Regarding skydiving, I did quite a few ...

Correct: Brand, former Russian Air Force base (MiG-27's). The big hangar belonged to Cargolifter for a big Zeppelin that was to be used as an air cargo system. Unfortunately the company went bankrupt. Correct and the facility was converted into a tropical swimming paradise. see http://www.tropical-...

It probably is the Su-22 support aircraft as 508 is an ELITE participant arriving from nearby Lechfeld.
