Re: Seattle area: where to go?

hi especially SeaTac, King Country and Renton are very easy to combine on a day. We spend several days in Seattle and did several hit/run visits at Renton and King Country. All 3 airports are less than 30 minutes apart from each other. You have to be lucky to see anything fly at the Boeing fields, b...

Re: little trip US. Day 4, AMARG "bustour" (Photo)

Patrick,

thanks for the advice on the airborne shots.
we have booked 2 flights with Double Eagle Aviation to maximize the number of passes we can do. I've seen very good feedback on them as well

regards,
Koen

Re: little trip US. Day 2, AMARG overflight (Photo)

hello Patrick,

you really have some nice pics from the AMARG overflight :D

Could you tell me how many millimeters there were taken at?
We're gonna do the flight in March, but we were wondering if more than 200mm is needed

thanks!

Re: Paris - Salon du Bourget

thanks for the nice comments :)

@Maurits: who knows where the Eurocopter and C-130 photo end up, it's my core business

@ Tomba: you're right about the noise. Shooting with 600mm still required some major cropping, I guess that ain't good for noise control

Paris - Salon du Bourget

hi all, after my business-trip to the Salon du Bourget, I managed to squeeze in an additional day to enjoy the action As you'll probably know, photography is difficult as the display line is quite far away. Most flying display shots were taken with a D300 + 200-400mm + 1.7xTC 1. Firstly Boeings' new...
