Israeli newspapers Wednesday carrried a US Navy press release photo (undated of course, but recent) of a mighty flat-top heading thru the Suez Canal. Probably means there are a pair of them in theatre by now!

USS KEARSAGE

According to the Israeli Press, the USS Kearsarge passed thru the Suez Canal "yesterday" on her way "to Libya". Photos shows CH-53s and V-22s on deck.

San Antonio Intl Airport / SAT : Weds. 26th Jan 2011 @ 17.30

Noted outside the M7 Aerospace facility opposite the civil terminal was a US Army C-23 (with a further example just inside the hangar). Further along the ramp was a partially dismantled KC707/KC-135.

The 8 Italian Tornados that arrived 5th December to use the Ovda ranges left on Thursday.

Correct as always Mr B - but surprised you missed the deliberate error, the Kamov should be a -32A and according to a very informative Azerbaijani website, it is the FHN-05 (although I sometimes confuse the Cyrillic A and D symbol)

A third HAF CL215 has been identified, 2049, and two Turkish examples are/were apparently TC-TKJ & TKZ.
