Have always been surprised that Ryanair didn't put a big operation Rotterdam - understood that expansion there wasn't allowed by the local council?

Be surprised if EZY pulled out of AMS - the locos always seem to have a rant about charges, but then mostly carry on anyway.

Richard.

Amsterdam is a bizzare place to make a fuel stop when routing STN-ANC. According to the Great Circle Mapper AMS-ANC is 19 miles further than STN-ANC!! The routing is almost the same, so wouldn't have thought en route headwinds would be that different.

Ryanair looking at Schiphol

Quote from Ryanair's website: "Ryanair is now in negotiations with Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to see if a viable cost base can be agreed to allow a low fare Shannon-Amsterdam route to be launched." Would be an interesting development given Ryanair's usual antipathy towards major airports! Cheers, Ri...

Present at Oost 1220: F-HBLC E190 AF/Regional - appeared to be on a demo as it was parked right up against the DDA hangar (useless for a photo!) and people were going through the hangar to take a look at it. Didn't do that myself due to lack of time, but did stick my head round the door and saw a ci...

Misreads for PH-JCH, JCT and KZK? PH-JCN is a valid FK70 id, but it was delivered to Japan, and KLM have never operated it. There was also a PH-JCM, but KLM Cityhopper have never operated that one either.

It only affects aircraft with more than 10,000 hours on the clock, so only 6 of Flybe's fleet. However as they are still ramping up crew numbers they have some slack in that fleet at the moment, so probably few if any services will be affected.

I've got one! Any idea when it is due out (ie might be visible outside)?

Thanks,

Sorry - meant LX-VCV!

Hi Steve,
This G5 was parked up yesterday afternoon, and is a regular visitor: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1146425" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; perhaps the one you saw?

Jet Airways 73G VT-JGX arrived on delivery this morning. Supposed to be leaving to go on to India around 1600 tomorrow. This is the second Jet 737 to come through, suspect that a 738 will be along in the next few days too, as VT-JBB has been pictured in full colours at Boeing, and is only 8 line pos...

Apologies if this has already been said, but my Dutch isn't good enough to keep up! Where Manchester and others benefit as far as viewing facilities are concerned is that there are 1-2 central locations where pretty much everything comes past, mostly close enough for photos. Thus the casual visitors...

3 new Airbuses to look out for - EZY 319 G-EXBY delivered to Milan yesterday, so presumably will be based there initially. Click Air received 320 EC-KFI, and Aeroflot got 321 VP-BRW (although the appearance of those on the AMS service seems to have fizzled out).

I can't find the original source of the info, but this is from the post I made earlier this year that contained all the Jade delivery info from Jade themselves: http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=

So it looks like B-2421 is next, then 2423!
