Well, (semi)static photos are not the problem with this lens.
Moving objects are

wharthog, the first one is exactly what I mean, many photos are unsharp with the 100-400, sometimes 2 out of 3, even with the speed at 1/500 or 1/640 at a bright day

Hi I have lot's of problems with the 100-400, when making moving photos of fast flying aircraft, fully extended to 400mm, many unsharp photos. Tip voor backup's:
Bij Lidl een water/brandwerende kluis (koffermodel gekocht) voor ~ 30 euro.
Daarin zit backup HD van erg veel GB's. Staat naast PC, kan ik snel aan/af-koppelen voor backups.
