Very nice article on ELINT missions in the Cold War

My compliments for the nice article on the Cold War ELINT missions near the Iron Curtain in the 1950's-60's, as can be found in the latest paper Scramble. Very nice to read about these kind of hidden/forgotten operations. As aviation news is 'hot' on the Internet, but already 'cold' when the Scrambl...

Re: Orange Museum

Gents, An other (wreck & relics)surprice can be found on the roundabout when leaving the RN7 at exit Orange-Sud, just after the tollgates (peage). A beautifull restored Mirage IIIE is placed on a pole, in a flying gesture, marked: "84/5-OM". It true identity is not known to me (anyone?). Photograph...

Re: Vervanging F-16's

Carriers in the bay of Hyeres (2010-06-13)

A lot of ships were in the bay of Hyeres on Sunday. Unfortunately, the weather turned gray when we were 'at sea' (as it did at the crucial moments on Istres and Orange 1 day later) :? Do not stay too long at spot 1 and 2 (be very careful with photos, you are in direct sight of the tower) , within 5 minutes you will see the Gendarmerie :(
Spot 3 is OK

Re: Exercise Garuda

On https://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr ... 068_FR.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it says ex. Garuda from 21-25 of June. Nothing on the week before, but perhaps this first week is for familiarization flights only??
