The Sarang team is also confirmed for the RIAT, so I guess they will stay a bit longer than 'just' June :) Maybe they still have a gap in their schedule on June 20-21 :) What is your source about RIAT? Up till now I've not find anything about this on airtattoo.com. I think RIAT is quite overloaded ...

Took a long time to find, fortunately I found in an old issue of AIR nieuws the civil registration of the Tunnan. The site of the swedish CAA gave this: SCAA/ Aircraft/ Aircraft search/ Aircraft information SE-DXB Aircraft type SAAB J29F Serial number 29670 Manufacture year 1955 MTOW 6665 C of A Exp...

Norwegian F-16's disappeared from the Open Dagen site. Cancelled or has a computer at CLSK gone its own way?

Belgian participation

According to the showsite, there should be a Belgian Fokker 50. Is this a VLM charter or something else?

aviodromefriend, Thanks for posting the update on the transport. It seems like everything stops pretty soon after the show closing time, the show closes at 6pm and the last train / bus is at 7pm, what time then does the flying stop at? Regards, Frank. According to the ila website, flying should sto...

Re: Herc

What a buy what a buy! Is the Dutch Government going to sue Lockheed this time, like proposal have been made to sue NH Industries for the backdraw on the Dutch NH-90? Are they simply going to be happy when they are getting their Herc in 2009, 2010, 2011 or 201+? Someone at Lockheed might just think...

From the Flightline UK news entry: At the recent DASC Pre-season flying display symposium, it was announced that all flare releases have been outlawed. This decision was made as the manufacturers of the flare systems could not be certain that no debris would reach the ground following release. Any ...

Re: Waddo-Connie.

Actually I don't believe in this. In the same weekend the Aviodrome has its own event, and I think the Connie will have its role to play on their own fly-inn. Besides, the enormous insurance bill only covers for a very little number of flying hours I've been told by one of the Connie team. Flying to...

Anyone for the ID of the Fokker 'cockpit', painted as Fokker 100, on display ?

Bye, Chris.
It's a mock up the airport got from the Aviodrome. That was a 2006 action.

Was wondering why RTM Approach is in the list. Maybe because the controller is also situated at Schiphol East? Maybe because from the RTM Tower they change frequencie to a SPL frequencie. Controllers at Zestienhoven are in the Tower at top of the terminal building, as you can know from the platform...
