Re: 2020 Syria Thursday today : USAF F15s buzzed Iranian A31

According to the Americans, the airliner was intercepted because it was straying towards an area with US backed forces.

Re: At least eight Lot 14 Turkish F-35A to go the the USAF

What I'm curious about: did Turkey ever get any financial compensation for the development cost of the F-35 after they were kicked out of the program? After all they contributed roughly US$ 1.4 billion since the project was launched somewhere in 1999...

Re: Video spam

There are good video's from people who try hard to create something that's well worth seeing (like yours) and there are clickbaiters like Erwin mentioned posting ==censored== that is equal to spam. Re: Video spam

Then again, if the video section is removed those spam video's will likely just end up in the photo section (I believe this was one of the reasons why the video section was created anyway)...

Re: 3rd CAB helicopters outbound Europe

Could somebody help me identify the Blackhawk which was at the far end of the quay on Friday morning? It's tail had already been folded and it was towed between the containers around 10:00AM. Inside I can only make out "208" with the final digits blocked by a bag. https://i.ibb.co/KF4s3sD/20200703-0...

Truly miss the VC-10. I know it was too old and expensive to keep it in service just for VIP transportation, but it really fit the British style and heritage. It was like arriving at the party in a classic Rolls Royce.

Rumours are getting stronger that 480FS will move from Spangdahlem to Lask, announcement expected later tonight (21:30 CET) when President Duda of Poland and President Trump give a joint press conference in the White House: https://www.defence24.com/will-a-wild-weasel-squadron-be-transferred-from-g...

Re: Trump confirms plans to pull some US troops out of Germa

Anyone want to speculate where the Spang Vipers might go? CONUS or perhaps move east to an airbase like Poznan?

When Germany was just about to sign a huge deal for Super Hornets and Growlers from Boeing. Great timing!

Daar staat ...
