Captain's don't have to wear a tie in the cockpit, ans especially on long flights, do you think it's comfortable 8 hours long with a tie, they don't wear their cap and jackets as well are they??

martinair doesn;t do pax anymore with the MD-11, and as far as I know, they all de-modified them so that they can not be changed into pax configuration anymore...

PH-OFA is pretty crippeled.

whole left hand side is destroyed, from aproximately the door to the wing, static ports are damaged, and there is a large gaping hole in the fuselage. Also the nose gear is damaged.

I won't be surprised if this is gone be an economic write off..

the strange looks of the colours is a result of the fuselage shape of the E-190, because the upper side is wider than the lower side, this is called a dubbe bubble...

my opinion is the same about the colours, i don't really like them on the E-190... it is not in proportion.

a/c being grounded can have several reasons, it can even be a small thing that doesn't affect airworthyness but it was on the HIL (Hold Item LIst) and was expired and if it is expired you're not allow to fly, so it can be something stupid for eg a landing light which doesn't work..

my idea, the take and landing is ok, but i can't stand doing nothing all the time, I'm getting bored after 10 mins..

Although my last flight from yyz to ams in a 772 was ok, considering i had the crew rest area....

and flying miltary is always ok...
