Re: Den Helder Airport/De Kooij 9406-04-1985 The end of an era

Sad indeed. What is the reason for stopping? What are these new rules?
While there's more to get out of the pictures, thanks for documenting the happening.

Not to bad at all Jim! You solved the high ISO problem good with the B/W conversion. Here are some of mine: 1. Another angle of the "Staf". http://www.bvdboomen.nl/scramble/101231/IMG_5452.jpg 2. Re: Spotters tegen terreur

Re: TOP 10 pics of 2010

First I thought "10 pictures!?". I guessed, 5 would be fine but then, when I went selecting them, 10 is a too short amount. :) There has been passed really ace stuff already so I hope mine are on par. Didn't go abroad like many others, except for Sanicole but that is almost in my backyard. In no par...

Woops, my bad.

1. Uitle...

I can see it was worth it! And indeed, what Alex says, de slopes are the hell on earth sometimes! Remembering almost blowing of the "boerenkar" when a Cougar hovered almost above us.

Re: Gilze-Rijen EHGR - Grizzly White-out

WOW! That second Chinook of Erik is just great! What a light! What a composition! Too bad though, that there's no rotorblur.
The rest of the guys: Good results on a perfect day. Even "normal" shots turn out great with this light. I'm jealous. :)

Re: Yakovlev topic

Great shots Rob! Unfortunately, the Yak only has two blades which does not give a nice propblur for my taste. But that has nothing to do with your stunning photographs. The blur of js51672 is of course very nice but I doubt that this can be achieved in mid air. :) Hereby some Yaks I shot at the last...

Exactly my thought. :)

Nice captures gentlemen. The winterlight and enviroment give extra jeux to the photographs.
