Re: EHLW 13-4-2018

Compliments to out maintenance people! :respect:
Indeed a remarkable feat considering the 2 x 2 for QRA and 6 in Jordan.

Re: EHLW 11-04-2018

Deer on the runway departures had to wait  A deer on an military airbase which is fenced. What is more important? The safety of the pilots or a deer? I would say catch the deer and put this animal free in a nature park were this animal belongs. When I was stationed at Leeuwarden I noticed se...

Re: Frisian Flag 2018

There's a small space in the field on the eastern end where you can catch them landing. See map @ https://agl-fullstop.nl/images/VERKEERS_KAART_FF2018(klein).jpeg This space is marked as a blue square. The rest is indeed off-limits. Many thanks for the useful info, nilsko :-) I read about the spott...

Re: Defensienota 2018

Re: Frisian Flag 2018

The question will be for most air forces: Which ones are serviceable? And not: Which one in a special livery can we sent to Leeuwarden..

https://twitter.com/PBondaryk/status/943443014734794752 According to Polish MoD Undersecretary, pilot of Polish AF MiG-29 crashed on 18/12 DID NOT EJECT  ... Survived landing in high trees with broken ankle only - what a luck! Wow indeed! And testament to the robustness of Russian design ;-)

Re: Jordanian Falcons leaving Volkel (29-11)

Nice report and very atmosperic pic @ Aviano. I can't help but observe that calling the departure of 6 Falcons a "mass-launch" says a lot about local movements at fighter bases nowadays. ;-)
