Re: Stuttgart July 2017

I don't do civil myself (with a few exceptions) but even without mil stuff, I thought it was a highly enjoyable series! Well captured!

Re: Canon 80D/7D mkII geen goede keuze icm Canon 70-200 2.8L

Canon EF mount is gewoon Canon EF mount.

I could be wrong, since it's a long long time since I've seen a Mi-2 in the air, but I believe they could be used to deliver smoke screens by pouring oil into the engine system/exhaust?

Re: 15may2017: Luftwaffe Tornadoes may be pulled out of Turk

Isn't it ironic how the German media goes out of its way to stress the point that the Torando's are only providing recce and buddy-buddy refueling but, God forbid, are not actually dropping any weapons?

Re: China Lake Airshow 18 March 2017

Last Saterday, the China Lake Airshow was visited. The following was noted. Security was very tight, spotters were closely followed by both OSI and FBI. Hopefully someone can help fill in the gaps. Static 90-0755 HO F-16CM 56th FW/314th FS Question regarding the Holloman F-16, does anyone know if a...

Re: Wellington Life Flight Open Day 19-03-2017 [CIV/MIL]

(As all helicopters are ZK-Hxx, they only need to wear their last 2 digits when operating domestically.) Interesting bit of information. Of course not many "Kiwi" choppers go overseas... It gets even more interesting. If it's an unique type that can be identified by its appearance alone, it ...

Re: Luke AFB 02/14/17 [MIL]

The F-35 is of course the latest in fighter and stealth technology ... still, that F-16A looks so much more advanced to me? The F-35 looks like a flying brick, it even makes a Phantom appear graceful. When the 35's first arrived and the 16 squadrons moving to Holloman it was dead, seems like every w...

Very nice, and very lucky with that Tracker!! Weren't they all withdrawn from service by 31 December 2016?

What lens(es) and focal lengths were you using for these shots? They make me want to pack my bag and book a ticket to Taipei right now!

Air New Zealand starting Boeing 767 retirement in March 2017

The retirement of Air New Zealand's B767-300ER fleet was already announced August last year, see also: http://www.aviationwa.org.au/2016/08/23/air-new-zealand-to-retire-boeing-767s-in-march-2017/ Yesterday I noticed a single B767-300ER at Auckland Airport, on the Air NZ Engineering Services platform...
