Re: Canon EOS 5D mk4 overpriced?

Awesome shots! You wouldn't think that these beauties are 50+ years old!

I love KC-135s, it will be a sad day when they are all replaced with lumpy 767s. :(

Re: Spotting Israel

All religions predict peace, but cause war.......... Not too many Bhuddist suicide bombers in Berlin, or car bombs planted by Christian or Jewish extremists to worry about?. No, not really. Not unless you were growing up in Northern Ireland.... Quick summary from: http://www.news.com.au/world/the-m...

Re: Washington Dulles - IAD December 2016

Few goodies from few recent days at Dulles. Commutair DHC-8 which had emergency landing not to long ago at IAD. Nose gear did not retract during the landing. I believe that is the expected behaviour during that particular phase of the flight   Love the photos, especially those 727s!! Wel...

Re: U2 over Syria

Yesterday I saw an interesting topic on CNN about the U2. The USAF is flying this old lady over Syria to monitor IS. Remarkable that they are still using these old aircraft operationally. The airframes must be 50-60 years old. I still get more and more respect for what the engineers developped in t...

Re: Alliance AP, Fort Worth, Nov 4

Wow, great pics. Are these Rhino's still operational flying? I thought that QF16's replaced all QF-4's Yes, there are still 13 at Holloman. 4 are used for spare parts, 2 dont have any hours left and are ready for the nullo mission, so that leaves 7 flyable. The first F-16 is due to arrive in Decemb...

Re: LOG Australia/New Zealand: 29-31mar, New Zealand

The unmarked CV580s, ZK-CIE and ZK-CIF, both belong to Air Chathams.
(Along with ZK-CIB, which is the only one sporting the full markings).

Funny that, also the Australian Seasprite program was a complete disaster. Maybe NZ can pick up some cheap Tigre's from their neighbor?

The unit which is now deployed at LWD participated in Sentry Aloha together with.....159th FW FL ANG Eagles! There's no such thing as coincidence... No, this is the *other* OR ANG F-15 Squadron.
