For the collegues who planned to go to Wittmund this month: I just read on FF that there is a NOTAM which says that Wittmund will be closed for the whole month of June!

Someone posted on FF app. 13:00 h that he saw A-10's flying.... not 100% confirmed

Funny post Bennie RF = military! But the RF-number doesn't need to be unique....

Think they are great at least better than the result I scored yesterday (non flying day for the ANG)

Just checked FF and till 12:35 no A-10 flying activities, wonder if they are going to fly friday thought that they will participate till the 29th in the exercise....

Ik heb het antwoord gevonden sinds 21 december 2013 staat de An-225 in groot onderhoud met als doel het verlengen van zijn levensjaren met 25-45 jaar. De kist heeft inmiddels meer dan 8000 starts en landingen gemaakt en ruim 20.000 vlieguren. Als het dus goed is staat hij op Kiev - Gostomel.

Interessant item, ik ben dan wel geen civi liefhebber maar een An-225 gaat er altijd wel in. Ik ben eens opzoek gegaan naar de laatste waarnemingen en ik kom niet verder dan december 2013, daarna, voor zover ik nu heb kunnen nagaan, is hij niet meer gefotografeerd/waargenomen. Anderzijds verwacht ik...
