There are a lot of changes going on at Luke AFB with the arrival of the F35's. I had a look at the units that are still acitve at Luke, according to me it looks like this: 56FW 21FS F16A/B (training for Taiwan) 61FS F35A (operational with 24 a/c) 62FS F35A (8 a/c sofar) 310TFS F16C/D (USAF) 425FS F1...

Today (19/10) five SP F16's and 3 FinAF F18's flew to Beja, all for exercise Trident Juncture. 200 a/c are taking part in this exercise in Portugal, Spain and Italy.

If you read the NOTAMS it seems that Buchel will open up at Thursday August 13. Nörvenich seems to be closed according NOTAMS on Thursday morning till 1130Z. You might deduct from this that the Tornados will return from Nörvenich to Büchel on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

The Italian Tanker on the 24th had six Czech JAS39 in tow!

Hi Paul, it was nice meeting you at Nyutabaru on wednesday. You made some very nice pictures indeed! A pitty the Agressor F-15's came back only one day after we left!

They will have some kind of festivities at september 20. There is a flying display at 1600LT. Mirage 2000D 648 will get special colours for the anniversary.

Now on the ground at Twenthe is a GAF C-160 Transall, should be 5074. Will also make a local flight later before returning to Germany
