https://www.ch-aviation.com/news/161281 ... ro-hurdlesCanada's Chrono Aviation has sold its last Boeing 737-200s, citing a lack of spare parts.
The airline has dubbed the classic jets as too "old and dangerous", despite their ability to operate into the rugged terrain of Canada's northern regions.
Instead, Chrono is expanding its fleet of newer 737-800s and other types, bringing the average age down significantly.
One former Chrono 737-200 is currently flying for Buffalo Airways. The destination of the sold aircraft is unknown.
