RNLAF buys G.650

According to a press release by the Dutch MOD, the RNLAF has bought a pre-owned Gulfstream G.650 to replace G.IV V-11. No other details known other than that it’s from 2015 and has 2.000 flying hours on the clock. It will be delivered in 2023.

In all sale list c/n 6115 seems to fit the description. But than again it might not be on any sale list anymore/at all.

Might be 6117 N650HE as that was ferried to Basel last month

Defensie gaat de aangekochte Gulfstream G650

Elbit Systems ontwikkeld
Direct Infrared Counter Measures (DIRCM)
systeem en een zogenoemd
Electronic Warfare (EW) systeem.

Het Israëlische Elbit Sytems integreerde deze systemen in het zogeheten J-MUSIC DIRCM ((Direct Infrared Countermeasures) systeem
dat samen met het op infrarood gebaseerde passieve waarschuwingssysteem (IR-PAWS)
de G650-een hoog niveau van bescherming en redundantie biedt.

Deze systemen hebben tot op heden honderdduizenden vlieguren verzameld
en zijn inmiddels geschikt voor inbouw in meer dan 25 vliegtuigtypes uit te rusten.
Klanten zijn onder meer Israël, Duitsland en de Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF). van de NAVO .

Gulfstream G650ER c/n 6117 was regd. as HB-JKT 26jul22 by Jet Aviation Business Jets AG for modifications, ex N650HF, (N650HE), N650ZK, N617GA.
Any idea about the RNLAF serial yet?

Okay V-117
But the presentation of the serial looks a bit odd.
Small and the 7 is different from other 7s of eg. F-16, (J-017) AH-64 (Q-17) CH-47 (D-667) normally the 7 ends under the horizontal part of the 7.
