He was'nt the only one that was surprised. If my memory serves me right there was a flying ban for one of the pilots after this event... although I thought a TF-104 jockey was involded.Key wrote:Woohaa! Awesome shot!
I remember the pilot stopped by our group to ask for photos like this one, his action even surprised himself a bit...

Nob, the TF jockey was during the 1984 familyday with the Thunderbirds and mass takeoff from the 104. To entertain us while the formation of 18 104's was formed 2 TF's flew hard, low and close toward each other...Stefan wrote:He was'nt the only one that was surprised. I remember having seen a similar pass which seemed to go toward a bus with spotters waiting to be brought back to the Mariniersplein where our cars were parked. The bus was visibly filled with people before the pass, nobody could be seen afterwards, as all had ducked for cover. Beautiful!R.Snijders wrote:That was my first spottersday as well!
