Hi,

it was indeed rather disappointing, altough i have to say it was rather good organized. The weather turned out bether than we thought, and we had a good spot at the flightline in the afternoon, IF there wood have been some more planes...... :?
A colonel told me that the way this day is organised, will be used the coming years for spotters days before an airshow in France.

In the maintenance hangar:
613/3-XG, 617, 618, 644/3-IU, 650/3-xA, 680 and one with the serial taped over (this should be 671 apparently). The Gazelle was 4146/CXC, the Gendarmerie chopper 2118/JCV.

The FW.44J is ex Finnish Af SZ-15, the Stearman had 40-1766 on the datablock (type is PT-17 by the way). Are the Stampe's ex mil? THe Kl.35 has c/n 1854, also the question is this ex mil?
The Corsair is really ex Argentina Navy 0433 (with BuNo 124541) by the way, and the Mustang is ex RCAF 9592 (and USAF serial 44-74427)!

Hi Patrick (et al.),

according to Air Britain, the Stearman is an A75N-1 :? . C/n is 75-323, its former history is ex N8162G, 40-1766

according to Air Britain and a bit of old-fashioned "googling":
Stampe F-BDHC is ex F-BAHN, French military
Stampe F-GKEB is ex F-BDFN, no military history known
Klemm KL35D F-AZTK is ex D-EHKO(2), D-EBIB, SE-BHR, Fv5020 (so: ex Flygvapnet!)

hope this helps!

Hello,

Does anybody knows the serial of the alpha jet of Patrouille De France without a tail number?
