Euhm, heb zelf de OO-DLZ van DHL gezien, en dat was voor mij weer een mooie gapfiller...:wink:

EA300 was D-EZOZ;
R Neth Navy Lynx made another flyby at around 13.30 lt, coming from the south. Anyone for the registration?

strange thing on EHAM 8-9-2007

Post by topgun1984 »

Yesterday i was photographing some aircraft at the polderbaan and i saw an Extra 300 (looked like Mr. versteeghs old aircraft but 99,9% i'm shure that it was that aircraft), doing a G turn around the control tower of the polderbaan and then i saw do it again around schiphol tower.

Is that a common thing on EHAM? or does this pilot loose his license :D?

(pic of turn around maintower will be posted soon)

It's happening from time to time; helicopters passing by usually take a turn around the tower, planes not so often (except the Coastguard Do-228) but only after approval of the tower.

Frank Versteegh took "inbound the tower" quite literaly! He was flying at approximately 85m, and banked stunningly around the tower. Too quick for our cameras, unfortunately.
