The Royal Jordanians wil depart De Kooy on tuesday to either Volkel, Eindhoven or Gilze Rijen.

There, they will be disassembled and prepared for their loading into two Hercs.

Arival and departure of the Hercs will be on wednesday.

So just wait and see where the Falcons wil land!
Greetings,

280

Post by Wijgert IJlst »

In addition to the list of Lynx helo's reported earlier, the 280 was noted in a box at the back-side of the 860Sqn building, this box is adjacing the the carpark. The door of this small hangar was open and a maintenance guy was busy tinkering, had a tow bar attached so I suspect it to be operational.
Kind Regards / Groeten,

The 280 is indeed operational. The box you mean is the SAR box. It is the place where the SAR helicopter from the Kooy is parked.

The 280 flew late in the morning a SAR mission.

What happend/is going to happen with the MiG-21? Will it stay at De Kooy or go back to 't Zand?
Cheers,

It is probably going back to 't Zand because the Navy didn't want to buy the MiG for the offered price of 20.000 euro's
