Technische Schule der Luftwaffe 1 - Technical School GAF

Post by chinoock »

Hi there,

on June 12th 2007 I had the unique opportunity to visit the technical school of the German Air Force in Kaufbeuren (Technische Schule der Luftwaffe 1). For education and training there are aircrafts still in use which are not in the line of duty any more e.g. Alpha Jet and Starfighter.

1. F-104G Starfighter (21+69):

2. F-4F Phantom II (37+14):

5. MRCA Tornado IDS (43+34)

7. Alpha Jet A (40+79)

Like 'm, Gerald. Great light on the first F-4 shot and well done in the confined space of hangars. The angle on 22+55 suits her fine!

Hi Gerald,

nice shots! Do you by any chance have a log of what you saw? I visited Kaufbeuren this summer when they had the open day, and am interested in a full log if you have one.
Thanks!
Cheers,
