@Iwan: Don't forget the most remarkable future dinosaur: the F-117 Nighthawk will be withdrawn from service next year. Although it was a common sight at air tattoo's, you will start to miss it :?

Maybe it's time to scan some slides of the 1993 deployment at Gilze, which is (IMHO) one of the most remarkable coronets that ever took place in the Netherlands. Will never forget the thousands of people waiting for their arrival...

Hi Roel.

Big grin. I was on Arnolds birthday yesterday and we talked about your videos. They already said: Watch it, Roel will probably upload the low level 106 will probably on this thread.

It is awesome indeed ! :-)

I like the Phantoms as well Marcel !

No, why? I'm crediting you for practice and dedication. If this is not doable on manual focus, aviation photography would not have been where it is now.
Additionally, I think you're focusing on hyperfocal distance, everything in the photos seems to be sharp.

Hi Marcel,

Makes me wonder! It looks old, but there's a J-model just in the bottom of your shot. Is this NC-130A 65-0022 stored at Eglin?

Still a nice shot though!!

Best rgds,

Sjoerd

Hi all,

Stunning pics guys! Here some of mine, start with some RAF Jags, now official out of service since May this year....
Unfortunately the scans are from a flatbatscanner, slidescanner is on order.... hope you like them.

During a base visit in 2002 some sunny Jags were pictured, like this XZ364.GJ from 54sq:
Image
XZ366/FS from 41sq:
Image
XZ385/PC one of the last 16sq Jaguars at the ramp:

XZ392/PF during preflight checks:

Outside the base awesome pics can be made, like this Jaguar T2 XX840/S from 16sq in July 2000:

Hi Sjoerd,

It's actually from FY 55 so that's why to me it's a real golden oldie!
Photo was taken from the air a few years ago at Edwards AFB when still operational!

Some Turkish RF-4Es. In sept2000 6 THK Phantoms made a fuelstop at Spangdahlem on their way back to Turkey after participating the Nato-Air Meet in Norway. Two 113 Filo and 4 172 Filo Phantoms could be photographed in front of the tower near the main runway. Nowadays this spot is part of the base....
