17 Jul 08 JDS Asagiri TV 3516 (DD 151) Amsterdam
17 Jul 08 JDS Umigiri DD 158 Amsterdam

TV 3516 and DD 158 are from the same class and could carry a chopper. The JDS Kashima could also carry a helicopter. TV stands for Training Vessel

Hoi,

Any warship conducting a portvisit, normally will have an "open house" during the weekend. Most likely hours in local time will be between 13:00 and 16:00 hours.
But be aware, as you might already know, that since 9/11/2001 a lot has changed. No bagpacks aso are allowed o/b and there is a firm restriction on photography.
Anyhow, good luck and goor hunting.
