As if T-37 Tweets are a top priority for the MLM.
I like the Tweety by the way ....
But there are more top-top priority models to have/obtain!

Oh no, not again that endless discussions about what MLM needs most :please!:

I think when the T-37 is comming to MLM, and keep it original, then we have a very nice addition to the collection.

Hope to see the Tweet soon.

For decades the RNLAF has used the T-37 to train its jet pilots so I can imagine it fits perfectly in a museum which exhibits the history of our air force.

This will be a very njice addition for the museum. Maybe they can get an T-38 as well. In that case they need an CT-114 Tutor as well because many Dutch pilots received their trainings in that aircraft in Canada. I know many are in storage right now in Canada. I only hope that they also will try to get an F-4E Phantom to complete the 32nd Flightline. This is also an important part of Dutch Aviation history or at least US aviation history in Holland.

As a USAF (and Klu) fan I think the MLM should also focus on Luftwaffe and Greek F-4F/E before they get scrapped.
An F-4F/E is easy to paint in 32nd TFS paint scheme. That would be the greatest addition to the 32nd (T)FS lin up in my humble opinion!
Just love the smell of JP-4 fumes in the morning!!

Without dwelling on the Phantom issue, I would like to add the Beechcraft Musketeer. When training in Canada, Dutch pilots started out on the Musketeer before progressing to the Tutor. :clown: Perhaps some of them even flew the Chipmunk :|O:

I wonder what then would be on top of the list. The Phantom never served in Dutch service, nor did many Dutch pilots fly them (probably some exchange pilots, but not in large numbers). So with the Phantom of the list, what is on the list? I for one, cannot think of many planes that flown in sizeable numbers in Dutch service that are not in the museum.
And besides, sometimes you have to take what is given to you. By the looks of it, this was a very good opportunity for the MLM and they took it. I say that is a very good thing! Finally a new interesting addition to the museum!

Well, technically the 32nd TFS was under Dutch command so one might say it was indeed in Dutch *service*. But this might be a bit too far fetched. ;-)
