Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Regarding the holiday it was, and I shot them during my relaxing ;-) The last one is more the result of what I like in flight.
spending my time, sitting in a window seat and staring out of hours. It is weird to see how close the planes cross, visually, despite the separating the keep... thanks for the comment

The last one is worth spending hours looking trough your window. I always do, no luck yet.
And, for the first one: Just walk towards the shelters to get some close ups

Hey Johan,

THey are way to far for a nice try. These shelters are close to the taxi-runway.
There is to much sand in egypt ;-)

GREAT !!!

Are the Fishbed on the fist pic still airworthy?
It seems that they re either MiG-21F-13 "Fishbed c" or Chengdu F-7/F-7I!!!

In both case,very old ladies....

The migs are flying not every day. In the week I was over there the flew something like 3 days of the week.
But still quit a lot. One day they came in in a 2 times 4 ship formation and several 2 ships.
When I arrived we had to fly 45min in the holding area .what happens is that they simply close the airport for airliners
so the mighty migs can come in.
I have some pics of the migs. The are not very special but I will post them soon here

cant wait, please quick ;-). I love your take off (or landing) pics and I am very curious on the conditions there. Even if they are not good.
