Next Monday 26 begins the course of the BPD in Albacete
About 60 pilots, 530 technical maintenance and 20 specialists intelligence, electronic warfare and other specialties will take part in the course of the programme tactical leadership (BPD) flight.
Various aircraft that will concentrate in Albacete on this occasion, include the Rafale and Mirage 2000D l and 2000N fighters ' Armée de l'air French, the tornado GR-4 and the British RAF tornado PA-200 Hawk and the German Luftwaffe, USAF F-16CJ and F-16 c Greek Hellenic Air force F-4F Phantom. They will be accompanied by the F-1 Mirage of Albacete, the EF-18 Hornet in Zaragoza and Torrejón and the Eurofighter in Morón de la Frontera (Sevilla) air force, as well as representatives of the Hungarian Magyar Légierö and the Italian Aeronautica Militare.
It will also participate various aircraft transport, aerial refueling (tanks) and AWACS early warning ("Airborne Warning and Control System"), as well as some helicopters used for the transport of personnel.
The two first flight courses scheduled for 2010 were redistributed among the remaining of the year by the difficult weather conditions prevailing in Albacete in December, January and February, conditioned deployments of the units involved and the adequacy of facilities to the operation of type F-16 aircraft works.
