Lightning T.5 XS451/ZU-BEX of the Thunder City Aircraft Company crashed on November 14th, 2009, sadly killing TC's chief test pilot Dave Stock.

The photo shows the aircraft inside TC's hangar at Cape Town IAP on September 20th, 2008.

A-10A 82-0655/SP 81FS commander participate in TLP in June2002 @Florennes. In the same week this shot was taken the Warthog crashed on 27-6-2002 during a TLP-mission over eastern France.

At the TLP, put the pic on A.net and a couple of years later I got an E-mail from his wife(through A.net),
if I had spoken her man at the air base, she wanted to know how his last day's were...

22.03.2010 Aviastar flight TUP1906 Hurghada-Moscow ran out of fuel when staying in a holding pattern, due to fog. It crash-landed in a forest near Aviagorodok, approx. 1 km before runway, 300 m before airport fence, in heavy fog. No passengers onboard...

07.09.2010.An Alrosa Mirny Air Tupolev TU-154M, registration RA-85684 performing flight 6R-514 from Polyarny to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) with 72 passengers and 9 crew, was enroute when the aircraft suffered a complete failure of electrical power resulting in loss of navigation devices and fuel pumps. The crew was able to put the airplane down onto an abandoned runway (1200 meters long) now only used as a helicopter platform but overran the runway by about 150-200 meters into a small wood.

Hi,

Two crashed planes that were present during the IAT'93, the well known Russian MiG-29A 925 one day before it collided with 526, seen here during recovery. July 1993.


Hungarian MiG-21bis 5822 was one of the four MiG-21s that participated, this one crash in Hungary 18 September 1996.

In the summer of 2006 three Klu F-16s crashed. This J-363 crashed at 19 July 2006, this pic was taken during the Open days at Gilzen Rijen, June 1992, it was marked in 316sq colors.

The J-364 crashed on 31 Augsut 2006 in Afghanistan, unfortunately the pilot was killed. Picture was taken during the Mildenhall air fete, May 1997, J-364 was assigned to 322sq,wearing the F-16 display colors.

F-16BM J-068 crashed at Volkel after having a birdstrike on 21 Sept. 2006. In 1994 the J-068 wears a beautiful 313sq tiger tail and was taken on a cold morning at Twenthe, Feb.1994.

Hi,
Some more w/o jets, starting with Harrier T10 ZH656/104 from 1sq, crashed on 9 Feb. 2009.

German Tornado IDS 45+37 crashed at Büchel 23 March 2009, seen here during the RIAT 2001, RAF Cottesmore.

Canadian AF CF-188 188789 crashed on 18 November 2010, seen here on the static, RIAT2000, RAF Cottesmore.
