Nobody forced you to go to the airport with this grey and rainy weather, so please don't complain to other Scramble visitors. Sunday is better option!

Ger,
It wasn't a complain; it was just a comment; the comment got me some very good tips in the private mail so it was worth. I am not that lucky to get to the Airport when I wan't - today was the first opportunity in 10 days - and I am not one of those "nice weather" spotters - you go spotting bad weather or good weather . any way :ontopic: ( planes / pictures )
And ger, thnkx for the "attention" :~?~:

Hhhmmmm, i don't like it all.......but at least you have tried it. Question Douwe (and i'm not gonna do this in private, since this can be usefull for others too), did you found out yet what went wrong? cause weather can be bad, light can be low, but as long as you change your camera to the proper settings, this shouldn't be a problem...........were all your shutter times to low, or what happened?

Regards Menno

problem was in 1/25 - no chance at all I think and I should have taken them with F7.0 right ?

Hahaha Douwe, don't worry, there are more persons who had to deal with this. It's what we call a learning curve  Sometimes (When conditions are really bad/light is low) you need to crank up your ISO for getting higher shutterspeeds. Unless you're trying to create some nice panning shots, 1/25 is way to low....

Drop your Aperture down, crank your ISO up, untill you get shutter times which will be more safe. Dropping down your aperture may not be the most elegant solution (they will get more soft), but you have to choose between two bad options, where having a little bit more soft images is better then having images with a lot motion blur.

But hey, weather conditions like that are very challenging for practicing your panning skills

Hi all,

Did anybody get a chance to make a shot of the Emirates T-7 of today? I would love to have this one (friend of mine was in it), thanks in advance.

GrtZ,
Andres
