Jever (ETNJ) - 2013 MIL

Post by lievers-online »

Does anybody have a current list of the wrecks that are in the Jever scrap yard, I have been passing by last Wednesday but could only log the following

Tornado
4318
4492
??91?
(4556) Tornado Panavia 40 tail
(4546) Tonado end of an era markings
+2
Phantom
+3

Also I noted an C-160 on the operational platform however could read the serial, well i did not try hard enough as already the base police noticed me

Thanks

45+45 ex JaboG 33
45+46 ex JaboG 31, spec. c/s flyout Tornado JaboG 31
45+51 ex AG 51, spec. c/s last Tiger Tornado from AG 51
45+56 ex JaboG 32, 40 years Tornado markings on the fin

Can some one please share the GPS coordinates of the vantage points from where the dumped/wrecked Phantoms and Tornado's can be seen from outside the fence?

Okay, thanks Dennis! I now notice some rubbish on a dispersal on the NW corner indead. Do you expect that they can be observed from the HusumerWeg for instance?

Indeed it is that rubbish. Just follow the fence by food and you can get close (50 meters) to them

As found out the hard way yesterday, there are no aircraft outside here currently. The "usual spot" with the fuselages is now filled with droptanks....

If this was same hanger we saw....... Not sure about the first one, but the other were actually 45+49 and 44+08 in special colors.
Answers will be questioned.....

Isn't 44+08 preserved at Aurich anymore? I remember the Tornados had a red cover on the serials so they could be misread. Are you sure about 45+49 instead of 45+40? Maybe someone else can confirm?
