These are taken on the West side of the airbase between some farmer grounds. I was standing there with some 20 local spotters and had a great time. It is more to the middle of the runway. The cemetary is not recommended as this month is "Ghost Month" in Taiwan and they avoid these places. Realy!Wijgert IJlst wrote:Wow, awesome shots! exactly what I told the Officer in charge. But considering the status between Taiwan and China I can understand why they exclude all foreigners and not only the Chinese. There was some talk about pre-registering for foreigners but even the Taiwan spotters I met blame politics for this. But hey, I got some very nice pics of Taiwanese aircraft so I am not complaining. Seeing the masses of people getting into the base it would not be a photographers delight and wonder if the static was to be photographed.
