The best shot I have seen from that belly landing was taken by 'old' Soesterberg spotter Erik Slechtenhorst, callsign 'Muis'. I have still that picture :worship:

By the way , is this Topic limited to the Eighties or also open to pictures of the Nineties ? In that case the title needs a slight adjustment , I think...
This Norwegian Sea King visited in 1987 , so that is correct anyhow.

Thanks for sharing, very nice specimen! And actually quite understandable that the nose of a camo KLu F.27 could be mistaken for this T-39, at least at first glance.

Norwegian Sea King 189 also visited on 12-06-1984 Soesterberg. This was when the Thunderbirds display team where there.

also in June 1984 were these F-15's from the 71st TFS at Langley AFB.
