I think we can disregard this NOTAM. Apparently the Polderbaan is still in use at the abovementioned times (at least on 6 and 9 May), even though the NOTAM clearly says that it's supposed to be closed. :~?~:

Strangely, the rwy closure info as it was in the NOTAM is not in the daily briefing package anymore we receive for ATC operations. I do still see it for instance in FAA NOTAM summaries.
The closure has been in effect on some days, but indeed not on all mentioned.

Aaaand now (13 May), the Polderbaan is indeed closed...this is absolutely ridiculous... :blpc: :mercy:

Remember vrijdag 9 mei, the weather was terrible with some diversions to Brussels and Rotterdam. Not a good night to close one of your main runways :roll: :wink:

Zwarte schermen KLPD platform

Deels om informatie te delen, deels om te vergaren:

Gisteren tijdens een fietsritje langs de KLPD op Schiphol-Oost gereden in de hoop wat leuks te zien. Echter zijn de hekken (rondom, ook hekken binnen de buitenomheining) bedekt met zwarte schermen. Een stukje doorlopen over het gras heeft dus ook geen zin.

Ik begreep dat deze zijn geplaatst ten tijde van de NSS i.v.m. de heli's van POTUS. Is er enig nieuws/insider informatie of en wanneer het platform weer zichtbaar gaat zijn?

De zwarte schermen die blijven.... dat was niet ivm de NSS..... maar had een andere reden....

Ah, dat is jammer. Zag altijd mooie foto's en mogelijkheden om e.e.a te zien van die kant, helaas zelf dan niet mogen meemaken.

Als je echt wil pottenkijken kan je een trapje pakken en ook gewoon overheen kijken ;). Ben ook benieuwd wat er daar te pottenkijken valt :?
