F-35 is now definitely a no-show, so it's now an official PR-disaster.
Answers will be questioned.....

Pointing to your own opinion elsewhere on the web does not make it 'official', Elmer ;-)

Hello all,
Please can someone help with some information the Greek TA-7C 154477? According to the Scramble database, it was dumped at Araxos in November 2011, suggesting it wasn't going to fly again. Furtrhermore, I have seen information to say that at some point it was registered as N164TB with the Department of the US Navy?! I'd imagine this bit is wrong.

Is the TA-7 at Fairford the real 154477..?

The 154477 has interesting background.

As A-7B (before convert to TA-7C) flew missions in Vietnam with VA-155 Sqn.

Later when retired from USN, a private company used this http://registry.faa.gov/AircraftInquiry ... rtxt=164TB That's why the N164TB

Finally the 154477 at the end of 90s got the HAF markings.

I checked the following c/ns at RIAT this year. Most are very common, but better checked than not IMHO. The acceptance date is listed where known. C.295s have both a manufacture date and an acceptance date.

AS332M1 T-311 2216, 5.87
AS332M1 T-314 2328, 1.91
Bo105P1 87+28 6128, 1992
C-130J MM62194 5548
C.295M 16708 052, full version PG02-1-052. Manufactured Aug09, accepted Sep10
Cessna 560XL T-784 560-5269
Do228 PH-CGN 8181, 1990
Gazelle XZ334 1673, 7.8.77
Avenger ZZ501 FL-618
L-39C ES-YLN 533637
Chinook ZA714 M7005, 12/20/93
L-39C 10 934669
King Air ZK458 BY-32
P.180 MM62159 1023
TBM700 125/XO 125, 12.97
ERJ CE-02 145480 – ODW please note!
C-130H CH-11 382-4482
C-130H 84004 4881 – this like most C-130s I have checked did not have the 382- prefix stamped

Extra 300:
JY-RFA 1239
JY-RFB 1240
JY-RFC 1241

Polish C.295M
013 S-013, full version PO01/03/S-013. Manufactured Mar04, accepted Apr04
015 S-015, full version PO01/05/S-015. Manufactured Aug04, accepted Aug04
026 104, full version PO04/01/104. Manufactured Sep13, accepted Sep13
Note that only very early C.295s seem to have the S- prefix to their c/n.

Polish Orlik
038 04950038
040 04960040
042 04960042
043 04980043
047 04990047
048 04000048 – note most dbs seem to have this wrong
050 04010050

Polish Su-22M4
3612 37612 – this one had a plate marked 37714 in the right wing root
9102 29102
9616 29616

As usual, I have not listed those with the c/n painted in large script on the outside (Algerian C-130 etc).
