ETAR 27-04-2015

Post by okerkhof »

We spotted the following aircraft on the ramp today:

C-130J:

88-604
78-608
68-610
68-612
78614

We also spotted a C-130 near the tower, What I can see on the picture I have is a tail code which seems to be: BH-807... anyone??
We thought it is a Marine Corps plane, We think C-130J.

Also in the hangar I spotted a C-130, but not readable and on the ramp there was one parked near the hedge, not readable..

C17:
21106 McChord (Tailband)
10189 Memphis
66168 Dover
77182 Charleston

C5M:
50002 Dover

And taking off:

C40, serial 20042 if I am correct..

I am not very good with codes, so all codes I posted, is what I read on the tails.

*The Marines Herc arrived at the 26th in the evening. Probably with parts for the 069.
*C-17 04-4131 also arrived the 26th after 18:30, when we left Ramstein.
*The six locals mentioned in the list above are the ones that flew. It was raining cats and dogs, so i/we didn't bother to left the car for reading off RS-Hercs ;)

With numbers, yes, spotting and pictures I have done since 1993...
I am trying to get used to the US Air Force way of numbering their aircraft...
