Since I do not see a recent post on this subject, just a friendly reminder that EHEH/EIN is CLOSED for two and a half weeks due to the runway being resurfaced.

The Hercules of 336 Sqn operate out of Gilze Rijen, the KDC10's of 334 Sqn out of Cologne (Koln) eeehhh sorry, Luxemburg. I didn' t check whether civil flights are being rerouted or are simply being cancelled for the period.

Airport website says the airport is closed.

"Van 30 mei tot 16 juni 2016 wordt onderhoud gepleegd aan de start- en landingsbaan en hierdoor zullen we in deze periode gesloten zijn voor al het vliegverkeer."

It is supposed to be temporary based at Gilze-Rijen but it hasn't arrived yet.

going slightly off-topic: V-11 did a flight from Rome to RTM this afternoon. Perhaps a nightstopper & transfer to GRY tomorrow?
