Aviadarts in Ryazan (Russia) 03.08.2018

Post by JohanNasstrom »

A few photos from Ryazan Dyagilevo

4 countries participated in the competition AviaDarts, which this year was held in the Russian city of Ryazan.

Russia, China, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

Was a great day with a lot of different stuff, such as TU-22M3, MI-24 and AN-72.

Hope that you enjoy!

Nice! Those Belarus MI's are seldom seen

Due to compression (I guess) the pics seem to be out of focus (unsharp).

Advise to other viewers: by clicking on the pictures you will follow a link to imgbb resulting in a HR version of that picture.

Thanks! Yeah, I guess that is due to the compression. Like you said, if the link is clicked the full picture is shown.
I am open to suggestions on how to post pictures in a better way!

Nice shots indeed! All taken from outside the fence I presume? No problems with security? Heard rumours of somebody being taken away by security.

Great pics Johan!
Could you maybe post the serialnumbers of the Mi-24's? They are painted on the stubwings.

Well, we got approached by security after 8 hours, but their concern was that they said we were standing too close to the air base itself. However, what makes this tricky is, the base does not have a fence.

I would never go here without it being Aviadarts and never without being able to speak Russian.

But I would say that it was worth it for the amount of amazing planes that we saw.

From the photos the hind c/ns look like 3534623912936 for 46 and 3534623912942 for 47. 47 is further away in the photo so the c/n is much harder to read. Pretty sure it ends 942 but the preceding 4 digits may not be correct.

Thanks Ian, these cns seem plausible for Mi-24RCh variants and fit in known ranges, but I would rather like the c/ns being confirmed 100%.
Johan, could you shine a light on this please? MTIA.

And thanks Ian for the help when I was absent from the forum!
