Great that c/ns have been checked. The taped serial for the last two only had numbers?
Or were these two not Afghan?

I'm not sure where they are headed the one in the static at Moody fit into the pattern

17-2031 c/n 31400244 (1)944 taped over. I thought it was just 944 at the time and I can't tell from my pic that there was a 1 in front of it. I heard at the show that there are 10 currently based there. I don't think the Nigerian ones are going there before delivery.

Thank you,
In the meantime I have received more info. Afghanistan ordered an additional six A-29Bs in US FY2017.
The first of these were delivered to Moody AFB in April 2018. From the six additional A-29Bs, two (17-2027 and 17-2028) were delivered to Kabul (Afghanistan) in June 2019.

The ones for which I know they are still flying with 81st FS at Moody AFB are:
13-2001, 13-2002, 13-2003, 13-2005, 13-2011,
13-2016, 13-2019, 13-2020, 17-2030, 17-2032
Makes up ten aircraft.

This means that four Tucanos of the additional order must have been delivered to Kabul. The two mentioned above and 17-2029 and 17-2031 for which I do not have any sighting reported so far.

Thank you, can you tell me which other Tucanos were noted at the airshow?

Sadly I only saw that one in the static, none in the shelters like two years ago. I'll post a show log in the next day or so
