‘Tote Hose’ or ‘Dead as a mouse’, guess the federal police had left for home already as their platforms were empty.

A short visit to get the beautiful silver VP-CAZ chopper. No Bundespolizei nor ADAC around which is very unusual for this place.

Went to Hangelar twice last 2 days including a longer than usual visit yesterday in the hope of finally getting good shots of the Police Super Puma but no luck. Combined the pix of both days in one set with flying stuff on the 12th and on the ground stuff on the 11th.

Hi All,
Saw 9A-HBB EC-135 Policija (Croatian Police) overflying Königswinter around noon so checked out Hangelar a few hours later but it had either left or put back in a maintenance hangar:

I was finally able to photograph the Croatian Police helicopter as it was parked outside for a change. The 2 Police Super Pumas were parked as usual in a way that reading the regs was impossible

I am still trying to find out the identity of the second FW.44 that is/was in the workshiop of Dirk Bende here at Hangelar. In May 2019 we were told they were "UDT" and "WUZ". The first one has by now been identified as D-EWUZ (former Finnish SZ-5), but the second one that was under restoration is still unknown. D-EUDT would make sense, but is not registered (yet?). Anybody?

Nice black EC-145 but unfortunately parked in the wrong location. Biggest surprise were 3 Skyhawks that passed by high overhead.

SZ-12/D-EXWO was still flying in July 2019, 2 months after you saw "UDT"
The odd thing is SZ-12 should be c/n 2775, but SZ-12/D-EXWO has 2778 on the c/n plate

Hmm, interesting. So possibly D-EUDT is actually former SZ-12 while D-EXWO is something else? I see in the Scramble database c/n 2778 is linked to SZ-18. With a question mark however, and SZ-18 is said to be preserved in a shopping centre in the outskirts of Helsinki. The plot thickens....

Short visit to check out the helis which were unfortunately all repeats. Gang of 5 sky texters/sky writers (4 Extra’s and a S2 Pitts) left for a joint flight. A day later I saw their texting results in the sky so included that in album below. Seems an advertisement for Deutsche Telekom.
Cheers
