Karup (EKKA) 2025

Post by Herby »

Eskadrille 722 departed on June 4th with two of it’s Merlin Mk.512 (M-510 confirmed and most likely M-507) for Nuuk/Greenland. The two departed Karup via the UK, Shetland, Faröer, Iceland, Kulusuk and were supported by Danish Navy frigate F363 Niels Juel as a landing possibility in case of technical issues or fuel shortage. They arrived after a 17 hours journey and should show the flag and will do missions and train with Greenland forces and different government oganizations in the next weeks.

The M-507 was seen flying from the UK towards Denmark via the Netherlands on June 4th so not went to Greenland.
