The two days of the Naha Air Festa could not be more different. Saturday saw heavy rain showers with strong winds and Sunday saw sunny skies.
Because of the bad weather most of the flying displays for the Saturday were cancelled, with only two F-15s flying. Sunday saw a lot more action, with F-15s 931 & 950 flying in formation with E-2C 34-3452 and later with P-3C 5071. The other F-15s flew local missions.
This open house marked probably the last visit of an RF-4E to Naha.
