This was the first MEBA exhibition. The next one should be held in November 2008, alternating with the Dubai Air Show. The Royal hangar has been moved to a spot to the Southeast of the airport exhibition center, which means that (visiting) government and UAEAF aircraft taxi right in front of the exhibition apron. The 5 m high fence, which was put up some time in 2006, was temporarily removed for MEBA.
